    Article summary

Reconeyez is proud to introduce the new Reconeyez 2FF SIM (Mini SIM) — now available through the Reconeyez sales team. This new SIM marks a significant step forward in how we deliver connectivity, automation, and system reliability across all Reconeyez deployments.

Purpose-built for the Reconeyez ecosystem, these SIMs deliver expanded roaming capabilities, streamlined device management, improved automation, and simplified site operations. They are engineered specifically for industrial IoT environments and integrated tightly with the Reconeyez cloud platform.

    Unlimited IAS Commands

Traditional third-party SIMs impose a monthly SMS command limit, which severely restricts bridge IAS (Instant Activation Service) SMS-wake-ups, such as instant arm/disarm commands and detector schedule changes. Once this monthly SMS limit is exceeded, the commands will be delivered when the device connects to the server, which may mean a delay of up to 1 hour.  The new Reconeyez SIM removes this bottleneck entirely.

With Reconeyez SIMs, IAS usage is truly unlimited — enabling more responsive and complex site workflows without additional cost.
