Overview

Reconeyez Installation app is a tool for Reconeyez installers that allows to configure and troubleshoot Reconeyez devices before they are connected to the server. It requires an Android OS tablet/smartdevice and a connector mote as hardware. To synchronize saved configuration to server it needs a data SIM card to ensure connectivity to mobile network. Reconeyez Installation app is a vital tool for the preparation and installation of the Reconeyez devices. It is used as a mobile terminal to configure detectors, bridges and sirens before and during installation.

Connector mote

Connector mote is a small device that allows communication between the Android device hosting theReconeyez Installation app and Reconeyez devices. It interprets 2.4 GHz signal to bluetooth and vice versa. It can be used in 20 meter radius of the configured device.

Connector mote can be turned on with a switch and it displays a fast blinking red LED when working. Connectormotes can be charged with a micro-USB cable. If the Connector mote’s red LED is blinking slower than once per second, then its batteriesneed to be charged.
