    Article summary

Devices menu displays device related information and allows device/area configuration. Left panel contains device notification filter, which allows to filter devices based on their status (eg. Low voltage, No connection, Device type etc). Below it lies device area filter that displays both Inactive and Active areas. Inactive folder areas are meant for stock/new devices (devices that have not been deployed to sites). Server is not expecting any connectivity from these devices and does not display their status. Before deployment, all devices have to be grouped into an area in Active folder, which allows devices to connect to server and also displays their status (eg. connectivity and battery voltage). The center device table view allows to batch configure selected area devices - save their timezone and schedule or arm/disarm devices manually. Also it is possible to move devices to other areas. Top of the page allows to change selected area name or create a new device area.
