    Article summary

Bridge modem logging is a feature in the Reconeyez app that allows installer to get detailed mobile modem logs from the bridge. It is an irreplaceable tool in case one needs to troubleshoot why bridge is not connecting to the mobile network. Please send your bridge mobile modem logs to support@reconeyez.com for analysis in such cases. Bridge modem logging is supported starting from 4G bridge firmware version 7.7.0 and 3G bridge firmware version 7.6.1 (please upgrade bridge if needed).

    Getting bridge modem logs

    1. In the bridge detailed view of the Reconeyez app, open the upper right drop-down menu and tap on Show modem log.

    2. The modem logging should start automatically. Wait until you see the text "Modem logging activated".

    3. Tap "POWER DOWN MODEM" and wait until you see the text "MODEM POWEROFF".

    4. Tap "CONNECT TO SERVER".

    5. Wait until you see the text "MODEM_SUSPENDED" or "MODEM_POWEROFF", or wait until 5 minutes have passed.

    6. Tap "Deactivate modem logging".

    7. Long-press on any spot of the log screen and select Send log... . If prompted, select your default email app.

    8. Your default email app will open with a preconfigured email to Reconeyez support (support@reconeyez.com) and log file attached. Please send it with the description of the problem that you are experiencing.
